Hopkinsons bring the Red Devils to the Great Yorkshire Show
Hopkinsons Estate Agents brought the Red Devils parachute display team to the final day of another very successful year at the Great Yorkshire Show. With a total attendance of 135,086 people, Jeremy Hopkinson helped raised valuable funds for Help for Heroes which have just reached £55,500 – far exceeding all expectations.
Jeremy Hopkinson conducted a 3 lot auction which included the chance to free fall in tandem with an instructor from 15,000ft! Neil Back MBE and rugby world cup winner 2003 was at the show selling 400 mini rugby balls with current England rugby squad member Hendrie Flourie. Neil is hoping to raise £50,000 for Help for Heroes by parachuting out of a Red Devils plane with fellow international rugby players.
Hopkinsons’ showroom currently holds 100 mini Gilbert rugby balls which are available at a minimum contribution of £3. Each ball is printed with a Red Devils, Hopkinsons and Great Yorkshire Show logo. The balls will be sold on a first come first serve basis. All proceeds will be donated for Neil’s parachute jump with every pound aiding Help for Heroes.
Hopkinsons’ showroom is located at 16 Prince’s Street, Harrogate and is open 9 am – 5.30 pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 9 am – 3 pm and Sunday 11 am – 3 pm.
Jeremy Hopkinson commented ”I am delighted at our continued support for the Countries’ largest agricultural show with our distinctive branding and boards aiding the 135,086 show goers. Equally to bring the Red Devils to Harrogate in aid of Help for Heroes and meet a brave young lance corporal in the Parachute Regiment, Tom Neathway, who was wounded in Afghanistan was very moving”.
